Frequently Asked Questions

Question? Can you refill my printer cartridge?
Answer: We only sell cartridges that have been put through and have passed our extensive testing.  We can refill most cartridges available. We can refill black or color cartridges.

Question? Is there any way that using a refilled cartridge can harm my printer?
Answer: We are so confident that there is no risk to your printer by using refilled cartridges that we offer a 100% guarantee.

Question? Is the quality of print from a refilled cartridge as good as using a brand new cartridge?
Answer: Yes! To make sure, we import over 130 different inks from all over the world. These inks are specially formulated to match specific printers and meet high quality standards. Whether printing in black or full color, the results from our products are crisp and bright.

Question? How does using a refilled cartridge at Ink to Go differ from using a "refill kit?"
Answer: Many of our happiest customers are ones that used to use a "refill kit". They now choose to use Ink to Go so they don't have to clean up the mess. They also know that having a specialist technician refilling the cartridge means that it's going to work every time guaranteed. And refill kits use one ink for all cartridges, that's why they seldom work.

Question? How often can I refill my cartridge?
Answer: It depends on the type of cartridge, but Ink to Go only sells a cartridge that has been refilled one time. This insures a higher quality cartridge.

Question? Can I have my color, fax or photocopier cartridges refilled?
Answer: Ink to Go carries most types of cartridges including cartridges for fax machines, laser printers and most copiers.

Question? Do refilled and compatible cartridges last as long as the originals?
Answer: Yes. Our lab technicians refill the cartridges to the same capacity as the genuine cartridges. The yield of cartridge is dictated by the amount of printing on a page and printer settings.

Question? When I use a refilled cartridge, am I helping the environment?
Answer: Absolutely! Buying an new cartridge uses more resources at a higher cost:
  • More than 3.4 liters (3/4 gallon) of oil are needed to make one new laser cartridge.
  • In just 12 months, cartridge recycling could save 4.3 million liters of oil in a country of 22 million people.
  • Millions of cartridges go into landfills each year and this figure increases by 12% annually.
  • A printer cartridge thrown into a landfill can take up to 450 years to decompose.
  • Refilling your cartridges is an earth conscious way to help save the planet's limited natural resources.
